The history of St. Thomas school goes back to November 1983, when Rev. Fr. Jose Kuply visited Mandsaur looking for a new mission station for the establishment of a school. Fr. Kuply stayed in a rented house at Ramtekri and was helped by many important personalities of the locality. The need to establish a quality educational institution for the benefit of the people of Mandsaur was in the minds of many. With the grace of God, first admissions to the school started on 25th, June 1984.A rented building with eight rooms at Ramtekri became St. Thomas School on 9th, July 1984.The blessing ceremony and official inauguration of the school was by Rev. Fr. Mathai Thadavanal, then Vicar General of Indore Diocese. The President of the function was Rev. Fr. Cherian, then Diocesan Secretary and it was attended by a number of Officers from the Local Administration including the then SDM. A group of about 500 prominent persons in the locality including Mr. Narendra Nahata was present. The School started with K.G I and K.G II, both two sections each. Sr. Alveraz, Sr. Isbel, Sr. Jyothis and Ms Dories were the teachers. There were 160 pupils.
